Ken Ellis called the meeting to order at 7
PM. We have 100 renewed members
for 2007. Welcome to new and returned members.
Once again the
club would like to stress about the safety entering the 3D
range from the 80 yard range. Everyone using either range needs to use
courtesy and common sense and above all safety first.
When shooting at the range and you are looking for an arrow
put the orange
stick in front of the bail along with you bow, make sure you take it
down when you are done. This will let others know you are there. We have a
good thing going here so lets keep it looking good and functioning smoothly.
There will be
a Bowhunter Education program Sunday June 10 given by the
Fish and Wildlife Commission and best of all its free. It will be located at
our
club and it starts at 8:00AM and you do not need to pre-register just show
up.
There will be
a free Swap Meet at our March 31 shoot - clean out your old
hunting, fishing, sporting stuff and join the fun.
Our monthly
3-D shoot for February will coincide with the Manatee Senior
Games at 9 am. Registration for the Senior Games is at 8:30am. We will
shoot the front range and have extra guests for lunch, so come and have
fun.
The work party
is the Saturday following our monthly meeting. Last year
nine club members attended 6 or more work parties and the club will give
them a free renewal several have renewed anyway and said to use the
money for wood for backstop replacement on the front range. The club
would like to give a special thanks to them after all its the few that show
up
and keep the club in shape that we as members owe our thanks to.

REMINDER:
Monthly Shoot January 27th. It is time to renew your membership.
The gate combination changed Jan 31, 2007 so get your applications
in if you haven’t already. When filling out your application please list
all clubs you belong to like, NFAA, TBOF etc.
